China-ROK City Pavilion officially opens

Recently, the China-ROK City Pavilion project, which took one year to build in the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, officially opened.

The China-ROK City Pavilion, as a landmark building of the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, is a super-large complex that comprehensively displays the politics, ecology, industry, science and technology, culture and other aspects of cities across South Korea. Covering an area of 210,000 square meters and a construction area of 135,000 square meters, the pavilion serves as a platform for international exchanges and cooperation, a center for import commodity distribution, as well as an incubation base for cross-border e-commerce. There are 17 functional areas in the pavilion, including ROK City Hall, International Commodity Exhibition and Sales Hall, Cross-border Commodity Digital Service Center, Global Enterprise Hall, Business Conference Center, etc. The pavilion will hold China-ROK theme expos, industrial development forums, cultural and art shows, academic exchanges and other events on a regular basis.

As an important functional platform for the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, the China-ROK City Pavilion will give full play to the advantages of South Korean enterprises in technology and brand, provide extensive services for South Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with advanced technologies and high-quality products to enter the Chinese market in B2B mode through livestreaming, influencer marketing and combination of exhibition and sales, and speed up the development of South Korean SMEs in the zone. The pavilion will also build a global supply chain base and provide professional “operation guide” for market entities in all fields of the whole industry. Commodity sales include imported food, beauty cosmetics, toiletries, household goods, clothing, healthcare products, school supplies and jewelry, so as to truly realize traceability, high quality, fidelity and low price. Meanwhile, the pavilion will carry out the “online + offline” integration development mode, develop a consumption scene both online and offline with the integration of culture and commerce, as well as domestic trade and foreign trade, create a new digital trade experience of “seamless transaction and unbounded flow of goods”, and thus form cross-industry and cross-regional coordinative development of the whole industry.

The China-ROK Demonstration Zone also held a symposium and a summit on “Internet Celebrity Economic Development Trend” with governors of cities and provinces of South Korea concurrently on the opening day of the pavilion.
