On September 24, the 2nd Northeast Asia E-commerce Summit & Promotion of “Digital Commerce for Agriculture” in Northeast China (Jilin), co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Jilin Province, was held in Changchun. Li Wei, vice governor of Jilin province, attended the event and delivered a speech.
In recent years, Jilin has attached great importance to the development of e-commerce industry, adhered to taking e-commerce as an important path to promote its high-quality economic development and to speed up its all-round revitalization, carried out the “Digital Commerce for Agriculture” action based on its resource advantages, deepened the comprehensive demonstration of e-commerce, and accelerated the orderly development of new e-commerce forms and models and self-operated e-commerce supply chain.
As one of the series events of the 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo, the 2nd Northeast Asia E-commerce Summit & Promotion of “Digital Commerce for Agriculture” in Northeast China (Jilin) by the Ministry of Commerce, with the theme of “Digital Ecology Collective Empowerment”, aims to accelerate the development of digital commerce in Jilin, to promote digital commerce cooperation in Northeast Asia and to serve the construction of a new development pattern. During the summit, the awarding ceremonies of “Jilin Demonstration Enterprises for E-commerce Livestreaming” and “Jilin Top Ten Excellent E-commerce Cases” were also launched.
